Privacy policy
Plain words about what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your email address, used only to create your account and for account-related messages.
- A password, stored securely by our authentication provider. We never see it in plain form.
- The pseudonym and any profile fields you choose during onboarding. None of this has to identify you.
- The posts, comments, reactions, poll votes and bookmarks you make, and reports you submit.
- Basic technical logs (such as server request logs) needed to run and secure the service.
What we don't ask for
We never ask for your real name, photo, employer or contact details. Don't put identifying information in your posts — our community principles ask you to describe situations, not people.
How anonymity works here
Your account is kept separate from what you publish: posts and comments are shown publicly without any link to you. A private, access-restricted record of that link exists so you can manage your own posts and so we can act on serious abuse or legal obligations. No anonymity system is perfectly untraceable, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Who can see what
- Other members see your posts, comments and reactions under your pseudonym — never your email.
- Our moderation team can review reported content and, where necessary, the account behind it.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your posts, sign out at any time, and delete your account entirely from My Account. Deleting your account removes your profile and authorship records; your previously published posts may be removed or kept without any author attribution. For any privacy question or request, report the relevant post or comment in the app and our moderation team will pick it up.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect. This page was last updated in October 2026.
