Community principles

Candid, not cruel. Anonymous, not lawless.

  1. 1

    Situations, not people

Describe what happened. Don't name, describe or hint at identifiable colleagues, managers or clients.

  2. 2

    Keep private things private

No phone numbers, emails, addresses, salaries of named people, medical details or screenshots of internal systems.

  3. 3

    No confidential material

Don't share proprietary code, internal documents or anything you don't have permission to share.

  4. 4

Be kind, even when it's hard

Disagree with ideas, not each other. Harassment, hate and threats are removed.

  5. 5

    Humour punches at situations

Corporate Wahala is satire. Laugh at meetings and jargon — not at individuals.

  6. 6

    Anonymity has limits

Other members never see your account. We keep a private, access-restricted link between you and your posts so you can manage them and so we can act on serious abuse or legal obligations. No system is perfectly untraceable.
